LIVE: Life Update

Well hello there!

Thank you for not completely abandoning me during my unintentional blogging hiatus. The last month and a bit have been completely manic, so I thought it would be good to give all you lovelies a bit of a life update!

Firstly though, how beautiful is the picture above? Back in February I went to the Bourjois event in Shoreditch - after which we went to see the Olek exhibition at Tony's which I blogged about here. I met the lovely Zarina Liew who created this illustration of me, which I love!

Here is a quick summary of what has been happening recently:

  • I GOT A JOB! - I can't even begin to explain how happy I am. I had written about my job woes in this post back in January, and I am happy to say that my hard work has paid off and the company I was interning at offered me a position :) I'm working in PR and couldn't be happier. It has been a bit of an adjustment though, but I feel myself growing every day which I have to say is the best and most rewarding feeling.
  • I've been shopping! - I've bought loads of great things recently and I can't wait to show you everything. Perhaps I will do an outfit post?
  • I've been reading! - "The Hunger Games" by Suzanne Collins and "We Had it so Good" by Linda Grant. I've asked for a Kindle for my birthday in June, which I am very excited about!
  • Finally, I have purchased my tickets to the Plus North event, which is taking place in Leeds in July. I attended the Plus London event in February and it was wonderful. I am really looking forward to not only attending the event and meeting inspiring and wonderful bloggers, but I am also looking forward to traveling to Leeds for the first time. If anyone wants to travel with me from London or share accommodation, get in touch! Tickets are only a fiver so go and get yours now!
Please do get in touch with any book suggestions and things to do and see in Leeds in July, I would love to hear from you!

I hope you are having a lovely Easter break and are recovering from a massive chocolate binge :)

Xx
